Katharine Macfarlane is an award-winning Scottish poet and educator whose lyrical poetry is rooted in the history, landscape and folklore of Scotland. With a passion for creating connections, celebrating communities and championing underrepresented voices her work explores themes such as identity, tradition, environment, relationships, parenthood, violence and journeys. She was the Scottish Slam Poetry Champion 2020 and placed third in the World Cup of Poetry in 2020.
